Well David is still here, but about to leave on Saturday. So I am spounging him up, trying to remember and store smells, the sound of his snore, and how his hugs squeeze me so tight. Which is a big job. I needed to think of a blog that would keep my readers satisfied until saturday when I will post again.
So forgive me if this is a cop out but it is fun, and you can make one for yourself later. If you have a second just go and fill this out. When my experiment is over I will tell you, who the real Analee is.

Burfday Wishes
Well I am turning 23 today. Yes 23. It sounds like a big number doesn't it?
I can remember thinking kids in their 20's were so big and grown up. And I definately don't feel older than 20, I sometimes mistakenly say I am 21.
David's birthday is quickly approaching as well, he will be 22. Which is weird because I was there on his 18th birthday. Our birthdays always remind me that David's anniversary in the Navy happens in August. This year it will be four years! Four years of sea duty, actively protecting our country. And that many years of me dealing with David not being a civilian which is one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life. Most people get out after four years, but we have at least till Febuary of '08. That is a long time.
Well I mention all this Navy stuff on my birthday post because I have one simple wish this year,

I want everyone to pray for peace in this world.
I want the end of hatred and violence in the middle east and in our country. I want all of the men and women fighting to come home. And I don't want David to go there anymore, on a boat or on land.
I just want peace and understanding in our world. It doesn't seem right that something so good, could be just a wish. But maybe with the prayers of all the readers of this blog, and their families and friends, God will hear our prayers and heal the hurt in this world.
Other than all that me and David are going to Seattle for a date night/anniversary/birthdays celebration. It should be good. A nice break before David leaves again next week.

I am a Crazy Rabid Squirrel
So since my parents left I have been running around like crazy. I took a friend to the airport at 4 in the morning, went to a birthday party that lasted a whole weekend in Seattle which involved shopping for a present and a cute outfit, going to pick up my friend at the airport to night at 10 pm, and David is coming home early (tomorrow in fact) so I have to have all of my clothes clean and sheets washed and house tidy before the hurricane called David comes and dumps two months of junk/dirty clothes everywhere!Whew. I am pooped.
For everyone who has seen Over The Hedge I feel like Hammie in the very last scene after he drinks the energy drink. I am moving so fast everyone else looks like slow motion. (By the way, I laughed so hard at that part in the theater, no sound was coming out and I even did the foot stomp because I was going to explode with laughter)
If you haven't seen it, you should, but another metaphor: running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Better?
Oh and Big Brother has been amazing. Will is still as funny as ever! When they were on the slip-n-slide I nearly lost it. Allison is gone, but I was hoping she would cause more trouble in the house. Jase is playing things pretty smart this time, he isn't half as annoying. And what is up with Mike Boogie?!? Why is he so cocky? What did he do his season but ride the Will train? I am tired of him. He can go so Will can stay. I have a feeling no one will mess with Will till the end. This is my predictions for the final two: Janelle and Jase. Of course this is only week two. But I would like Dianne to get to number two cause she was so close. Ok, so top four I want Janelle, Jase, Will and Dianne. Oh it is so good.
Watch it people Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday!

One down, 60 to go... or more
July 3 2006 is my one year anniversary. Please hold your applause. I thought about doing a sweet, mushy post to honor my love for my husband. But please, is that me at all? No. So the next best thing is a story about married life.
Ok. I love my husband and all but people David is backwards. He is methodical and practical and everything that I am not. Oh and I love him for it. But it drives me nuts sometimes. He likes to use every little pocket in a suitcase, or put things in drawers just to have something in there. Weird.
My story begins by a weird smell in my fridge. So I bought a new baking soda thingy. It still stunk. So I threw out, milk, eggs, cherries, apples, old soda, practically everything. But, since the rents were coming I said, I am getting the clorox and bleaching the whole fridge. Well, I take out the drawers to bleach them first, (I don't use the drawers for anything, they are empty ALL the time) and what is in my veggie drawer?!?!?!
(yes all gasps and vomiting can commence now) I never ever ever buy fresh meat, unless I am cooking it that night. So, when is this meat from you ask? May, the middle of may. Yes. I know. It is from when we went camping. David emptied out the ice chest and, what a sweet heart, right. I mean really it was nice of him to do.
But true to David he put it in the drawer and I had NO idea anything was in there. Well needless to say it was gross, and smelly. And I am a poet and I could really go in to detail here but I won't because I love you all too much.
Well I finally found the smell in the fridge, and I made a new rule for our relationship.
-No hiding meat products. Place all perishables in plain view.
So, that is my cute story about how fun and exciting married life can be.David is still out to sea, somewhere. Which is ok, it is just another day. Next year he will be in the gulf or possibly on his way home. So cross your fingers anniversary number three will be spent in the same hemisphere. But I will get a phone call and I got beautiful orchids!! I have never gotten them but they are so gorgeous. Awwww thanx David (who will probably read this blog and to his horror is the meat story. love ya baby!)
ps-My parents made it in town ok, and the weather is just perfect, as perfect as a day in spring. certainly stories of our adventures will be posted later. and yes the fridge is smelling great.
