dp knows i'm not a hand holder, we link pinkies sometimes. it is the best i can do for a husband who's love language is physical touch. that's why he laughs when i tickle him. :)

I have a small candy hoarding problem. Recently my candy stores were out of control, so I now limit myself to one container.

On year dp made me a candy scavenger hunt. It was the best present I've ever gotten from him.

All this to say--
Our 6th anniversary is coming up. Guess what gift is traditional? Yup candy.

:: in the twenties. i feel like i wont exist in april, but at least it's only just 3 weeks more of it. that is totally do able.
:: chicks ducks and bunnies should switch out blue for yellow. if you do not know what chicks ducks and bunnies are... you can not call yourself a lover of sweets as it is well known that Easter is the best holiday for candy.

I honestly can not remember how many I have had this week. (probably a bad sign)They tend to help my headache, maybe because of the cold. Holy cow are they goooooooood!

Maybe it is just me or maybe it is Houstonians, but I am not crazy about Sonic. I mean I like a cherry limeade but I not a Sonic nut.

As a child my mom might get us and Icee at Target when we were little. (did you know you can get $1 popcorn and a coke at Target? It has been my dinner many a time...) And me and Jeni started the tradition of Burger King Coke Icees. I loved Coke Icees. That was until the gloriousness of the Dr. Pepper Icee.

::ps- yes i love to sing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang songs. it is a small obsession.

::pps-did you know that Icees do not have ice in them? They are just a frozen solution. A fanstatical frozen treat.

Twas the night before Halloween...

Twas the night before Halloween and all through the house,
Was the crinkle crinkle of Analee failing at not eating the Halloween candy.

I just had 3 pieces. There is still some for my TOT's. (Trick-or-Treaters)

The smell of love...

I smell chocolate.

It is sitting next to me. Waiting patiently to be eaten. Flashing its fun size at me longingly.

"Analee, would you like a piece of Halloween candy?" says the mix of little chocolates in the mint bowl.

Valentine's Day David and I were working but when I got home there was a box of SweetTarts with a little note that said

"Analee, Happy Valentine's Day!! I love you. P.S. Look under your Siggie sweatshirt."

So I went to my t-shirt shelf and there was a Toblerone with a little note that said

"Good Job! Now go look in the bookshelf behind the CD books."

In the bookshelf there was a box of nerds with a little note that said
"Great! Now if you look under the Wheel of Fun you'll find something GREAT!"

Under the Wheel of Fun was a box of red hots (which are hard to find by the way) and my valentine's card was on the box.

How fun? And how much does this man know me, a scavenger hunt of candy?!? Seriously, it was great.
