the darling of God's creatures...

So we have moved in. It has almost been a week since we have been living at the house, well... almost all of us.

It was a pretty smooth transition, the kitties were ready to explore right away. But then Rigby started acting funny. He would sit in his box and shake.

--A little side note here. Men of the world, women are freaky intuitive. We just are. We know when stuff is about to happen. It may annoy you that I can see the future. But please listen. Especially when my little ones are involved. --

Anyway. Saturday morning I couldn't be told it was nerves any longer, I knew he was sick. So we rushed him to the vet. He had a urinary blockage again. They whisked him back into and put in an iv and started to unblock him. The vet called us later that day and said he needed surgery.

Rigby came home Tuesday afternoon. He is doing alright. He looks like a poodle with his shaved arms and fluffy paws. He is uncomfortable, but ate last night, it felt so good to see him interested in food!

Rigby tends to have emergencies when I move.
From Washington to Houston- he broke his leg
From Houston to Abilene- he escaped through a hole in the sheetrock.
Apartment to MichMansion- urinary blockage

Not to mention the non move related emergencies, like the thyroid disorder and the first blockage. The vet says Buttons is unique. :D That he is.

So have we unpacked at all?
No.
Have we gotten a light in the bathroom?
No.
Have we finished painting our front door?
No.
Hooked up the laundry?
No.
Gone to the store?
No.
Hung blinds?
ummmm No.

It is craziness but at least the timeline of getting out of the apartment is off our backs.

I am very excited for my minication- thank you labor day. My goal is to finish a book.

Happy reading!
I'm glad your kitty is OK.
My dashboard had the intro of your post about being at the vet and surgery but apparently the post had been deleted. Anyway, you've been in my thoughts and prayers.
