Ok so accuse me of not blogging if you will, but I don't know what write about. I have been really bored and since I have nothing else to say I will bore my readers with Navy stuff.
Since I arrived in Seattle, David's boat has been working on getting qualifications for their big cruise this January. So they have pulled in and out for the past year and basically gone down to San Diego.
This August was supposed to be the boat's leave period for the summer, after a winter and spring of not being around. The boat was in port for over a month, so everyone is taking leave and going home. The first chance since December to go home. Well, of course they would decide to send David to Nevada during this leave period.
So when David left July 28th, none of my other friends husbands went with him. So for the past two weeks, the people who I can out with to keep me company are busy with their husbands or have gone home. So I literally do not have a single friend right now. It has been lonely and boring. Not to elicit pitty, it is just an explination as to why I am so boring. Nothing happens to me except my reality TV.
So here is my TV schedule:
Sunday: Big Brother
Tuesday: Big Brother, Dirty Jobs, Real World
Wednesday: So You Think You Can Dance, Project Runway
Thursday: Big Brother, SYTYCD
see so I am obsessed. a healthy obsession.

Gee, it does sound pretty boring for you right now. Did you know one of Memaw's favorite shows is Dirty Jobs? And for your mom and I it is Dog Whisperer. He is so interesting, how he gets into the mind of a dog. Have you ever watched it? It is on the National Geographic Channel, different evenings. Just trying to get you hooked on another show.HA. Have you done any painting lately? I am still trying, but lately feeling like a crummy painter. Then I try writing, but feel like a crummy writer. I have been painting the family room, and then because it is connected to the living-dining room, I realized I had to paint that too. So, my original project, which was to rip out my dog tee-tee scented carpet and do a staining technique on the concrete, has gradually morphed into a giant painting project. This all started because I wanted to invite some friends over to dinner, and I was too embarrassed because of the t-t carpet. It has been several months now, and I still have the t-t carpet, haven't had the friends to dinner, but do have the family room painted. Oh, and Elissa house- sat while we were gone, and did some painting with red acrilic paint, which the dog somehow walked in and then walked on the carpet, which she tried to clean. NOw it looks like someone was murdered and left bloodstains. This should be a real motivator to me to get the project finished. So, which is worse, to be bored or have a t-t carpet with red paint "blood stains" ? Ha
