I love my friends!

Sometimes I forget how much I love my friends. I am living by my self in a new town and some days can be lonely. I got to talk to my two best friends today and it truely lifted my spirits. There is so much happiness in friendship, I wish I was better at making them.

I am thankful for my best friend Christi. I love Christi so much, she is so understanding and fun loving and adventurous. She is the most fun you could have and I have so many memories of boring days in Abilene that became FAB with Christi. I remember being in Abilene after Christimas before everyone else got back and we lived off of Starburst and rootbeer and Sonic brown bag meal deals. Me and Christi are the kind of friends that could giggle all day in bed or not see each other for 6 months and pick up where we left off. I am also thankful for my best friend Brianne. I met Brianne in college and I am drawn to her sweet spirit. But Brianne is not all sweet shrinking violet. There were some wild times trying to annoy our neighbors and *cough stealing a wide load sign off of a truck cough* (you didn't hear that from me). Brianne is a lot of fun but she is still so loving and caring. I miss her methodical making of the bed, I am sure she missed making mine. :) And my most best friend that has been with me from the start, Leah. Sisters are so cool. I love Leah. I wish we could hang out more but she is always there for me when I need her, through the really tough stuff. Like boring family get togethers and midnight candy cravings. We have a special friendship that can only be descibed as sisters.

I also love my Abbey. She is the best friend to me right now. She knows when it is time to come sit next to me and cheer me up. I believe that everyone should have pets. It is biblical. God is the first animal lover, after all He made the animals first, and Adam and Eve took care of the animals, and there are animal metaphors through out the Bible. Yup God loves the kitties and the puppies and all the other fun little animals. Me I love (and miss) the squir-rals. Those cute little squeaky squir-rals. But Abbey is my pet for right now. And I do love her. She came to me when I needed a friend most and I get I was the same for her. Awww sweet Abbey.

God is good to provide such good friends, and even when I feel the most alone there is always some friend waiting just a phone call away. I love my friends.
