Today is the Day! Lets all root for the 'stros. My entire family has waited for this day for years and year, my dad since he was 8 years old and me since I was 4. We are an Astros family.
They are not the best team in baseball, they didn't start out so great this season, but we are scrappy. In keeping with Texas's history, we are fighters. We didn't come to this country and get easy, pre-settled land. Texas was wild, and we fought for our foothold. And I believe the Astros will do the same! I believe.
But, if they don't go to the series, will we be ashamed? NO! Astros fans are just as scrappy as the team. We don't love the Astros because of how many penants and series titles they have. We are loyal because it is good baseball.
Can I get a "what what" for the Astros?!? If I were a cheerleader I would lead you all in a cheer, but alas I have never had school spirit before. But I do have the spirit and the pride for the Houston Astros. Yeah!

hey if we win i get to wear jeans! everything always comes down to fashion!
michael and I were remembering our astro days-remember when we were little girls taking our ice chest and going to the dome with meemaw and pawpaw-that was biggi's early days
I say go 'stros. I knew that I fit into the family being a life-long Astros fan myself. I believe! The days of Mike Scott, Billy Doran, Glen Davis, Jose Cruz (the original), Alan Ashby, Biggio (the catcher), Kevin Bass, Billy Hatcher, Ken Caminetti, Nolan Ryan, and now Jeff Bagwell, Lance Berkman, Ensberg, Everett, Clemens, Pettite, Oswalt, Ausmus, and more keep me watching every season.
Oh and by the way where did Beltran's millions get him? That's right, he's watching what could have been. I love the Astros. I knew I married into the right family! I will give a what, what! as well.
Great blog Analee!
