I haven't lived in the Northwest for very long but I had some initial ideas about what the weather would be like. Everyone said it rained alot but it would be misty rain. But when natives are saying that it is raining alot uhhh I think my presence in Washington is affecting the weather patterns.
It used to be that it just rained, real rain, everyday all day but I have just experienced hail in the P.O. ! It doesn't hail here normally, but what is normal with the weather anymore? If anyone has any ideas on how to stay sane without sunlight? Since New Years there has been maybe 4 days without rain at the most. If we start to float away I will call for help.

I have a suggestion. Take about 3 big trash bags and split one seam to make them big sheets of plastic. Then tape all three together. Once you have that done lay it out in a low traffic area of the apartment. Maybe your guest bedroom. Then buy some cheap sand at a hardware store or steal some from the beach and pour it out on your plastic sheeting. Place a bright lamp at a high position with the bulb facing the middle of the sand on the plastic. Throw down a lawn chair, beach ball, towel, crank up the heat, grab a book and have summer all year round. It could be your beach retreat. One thing to be careful of is that the kitties don't think that its also their litter box retreat. That could get gross!
Have a great summer in your apartment and raise hail!
Is it raining men?
(sorry you know i think in songs)
hey michael thats a good idea. i would worry too if the kitties would mistake it for a box. ill work on that when i get home.
