My sweet little Abbey came to me after spending her kittenhood on the streets. I am sure she must have been starving because now she has an obsession with her bowl being filled with food. If it ever gets empty she gets anxious and has no problem screaming till any amount of pellets of food are placed in her bowl. Now this could get quite out of hand and Abbey could become a fat Abbey so we had to work out a compromise. That compromise is what we call nibbles. Nibbles are five or six little kernels of food that we give her in between meals so she (a) doesn't have a heart attack and (b) shuts up.So in honor of Abbey I give the avid readers five or six kernels of my life in the P.O., just so know one flips out because I haven't blogged in a while. So here are your Blog Nibbles!
1. David has been in and out of port so much lately it is even pointless now to mention it. They are usually short and sweet. I don't know where they go or what they do, but they go. It is always funny when we think about out to sea time we think well that six month cruise isn't till next year, but we forget the numerous underways that come before it. This year before the cruise they will be out cumulatively the same amount as a big cruise. Fun.
2. Speaking of kitties, they now share a litter box, occasionally lick each other (lovingly), and where even spotted napping in the computer chair together (however a tight fit, I have suggested the couch might be more comfortable).
3. I am working hard for RBC. The website is slowly coming around. There are a thousand million zillion little bitty things that have to be done and just because the program is the way it is, those little bitty changes and adjustments take a long time. But look through it and see all the hard work that I have been putting in. http://www.realtynewsreport.com/
4. Yes it is still raining. And surprisingly no, I do not have vitamin D deficiency.
5. I have been making new friends. Sadly though many have already moved on, :( and some are on David's ship so when he is gone they are gone. But my good friend Brianne has moved to the area, although being a bad friend I haven't gotten to see her. I am still trying to convince my best friend Christi to move up here, but it takes money to move so does anyone know if it is possible to adopt a 23 year-old if I am 22? It seems to be the only way.
Now if anymore nibbles are required just ask nicely and I will give you some. The correct way to ask is a very specific "Mah Wow!"
ps- the picture in my previous post has been changed thanks to my mom who is now my accomplished pupil and scanned the photo all by herself. Kudos Mom!
