Decompression

Back by popular demand, Leah, I will comence posting again. It has been tough getting back into the swing of things. But here I am!

Well the holidays are over and the tree is coming down and all the decorations.:( I like the house being all dolled up and all that. The trip to Texas was great, I can never get over how much I love being home. It is weird that to me Houston is still home, my old bed is my bed. Although towards the end of the trip, mainly the seventh hour on the third plane of our trip, I was dying to be in my bed in P.O. Over all the trip was real nice the weather was so beautiful and made it so difficult to come back to the constant rain. David's dad was feeling bad and had to go into the hospital for Christmas. It was kinda a bummer but we are happy that this will help him to be healthier from now on. So our first Christmas together was stressful. We weren't prepared for all of the logistics and sharing of time. It was dissapointing not to get to do everything we wanted and we really didn't have any time for just ourselves. Yet we did get to see our families and that we the best thing of all.

The cats are doing splendid in fact. They have really warmed up to each other. Just today they slept on the couch together. Of course under supervison. The other day they were both asleep on my lap he he he he he he he. That family photo I talked about well it has finally arrived. I can't get over actually having a one big happy family. Aren't they sweet???

David and I have just celebrated our 6 month anniversary. Usually we don't keep track of all the little annversaries but six months was kinda shocking. It doesn't feel as long, possibly because at least 2 of those were spent apart. But it was neat to talk about is everything what we thought it would be and how far we have come in such a short time. David has learned how to make me feel better and I well of course I was and am perfect in this relationship. Right?

So hope everyone's holiday season was relaxing and wonderful.

Even though David isn't it in, I love your family picture. Your kitties are still too cute! :)
